Our Future
Kirklin is a historic community, established in the mid-1800s. Because of its strategic location, less than 20 miles north of Zionsville on Indiana’s busy, historic Michigan Road, i.e., U.S. Highway 421, Kirklin is well situated to transform itself as a highly desirable destination for weekend outings. Over the past few years, Kirklin has enjoyed unprecedented rebirth and rejuvenation. To maximize the possibilities of its growth, a newly formed Main Street organization is overseeing a vigorous effort to improve the town’s aesthetic appeal, including new sidewalks, coordinated enhancement of commercial signage and facades, environmental beautification, community events, and marketing. For more information and details about Kirklin’s plan, please click the image to the left of the town’s “Economic Development Plan.” Questions, comments, and suggestions may be submitted via the Contact page on this website. The merchants of Kirklin look forward to welcoming you. |
